The Licensed Maintenance Technician (Electrician) is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and general facility equipment. This role requires a valid, active Class II Georgia Electrical License to ensure all electrical work is performed safely, legally, and in compliance with state and local codes. The technician will also support general maintenance functions across the facility. This position requires the ability to independently identify maintenance-related problems, determine potential solutions, and decide when to contact external resources or escalate issues to the Maintenance Manager. When the Maintenance Manager is not on site, the Maintenance Electrician must be self-reliant in managing maintenance tasks and ensuring that plant operations, facilities, and grounds continue smoothly. Success in this role requires advanced technical skills, strong time management, and the ability to mentor less experienced team members while maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
