About The Position

Will assist with the supervision of electrical construction and electrical facility design along with performing electrical maintenance all within an oil and gas production environment. Electrical facilities consist of motors and motor controls relating to sucker rod pumps, electric submersible pumps, LACT units, saltwater disposal facilities, vapor recovery units, miscellaneous pumps, along with PLC controls, and some instrumentation. This is a field type position that requires working with the tools needed for maintenance. Ability to work well within a team environment is required.

Requirements

• 2+ years' oilfield or industrial related electrical experience performing installs and maintenance
• Basic computer skills
• High school diploma or GED
• Familiarity with motors and basic control circuits
• Familiarity with AC variable frequency drives
• Familiarity with relay logic
• Familiarity with instruments
• Familiarity with instrumentation loops
• Familiarity with basic PLC fundamentals
• Knowledge and ability to interpret NEC and electrical code
• Good driving record

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in industrial communications
• Proficiency in PLC programming or other adder logic
• Proficiency in instrumentation
• Proficiency in oilfield design and wiring methods
• Proficiency in managing electricians and projects
