About The Position
Install, build, troubleshoot and repair machinery containing electrical componentry. Provide support for the manufacturing of quality products through maintenance and installation of electrical components and equipment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED).
- Completion of a Formal Electrician Apprenticeship.
- Minimum of two years of experience as an Industrial Electrician.
- Michigan State Electrician's License.
Responsibilities
- Install, build, troubleshoot and repair machinery including PLC Controlled Machinery, Robotic, Welding, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Press Control, and General Manufacturing Mills and Presses.
- Operate a variety of equipment including Metering Devices, Hand Tools, Scissor Lift, Programable Logic Control (PLC), Volt/Ohm Meter (VOM), Diagnostic Computers, Conduit Benders, Threading Equipment, AMP Probe, and Megger.
- Work in a safe manner, providing constant attention and communication regarding safety concerns to leaders in order to limit unsafe practices throughout the facility.
- Provide direction and coaching to less experienced team members, as well as mentor apprentices as requested.
- Additional functions not specifically outlined in this position description as directed by the supervisor.
