About The Position

EPCOR is hiring a full-time Electrician I or II to join our operations team. This is your opportunity to work on advanced electrical systems that power essential water and wastewater facilities. In this role you will work across several locations in our Central Division (El Mirage, Sun City, Buckeye, Litchfield Park, and Surprise).

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Completion of a recognized four-year apprenticeship program or equivalent training.
Two years of industrial electrician experience at a skilled level.
Valid Arizona driver’s license with excellent driving record.
Knowledge of utility system maintenance programs and working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and process control equipment.
Computer proficiency with Word and Excel.
Minimum of two years of on-the-job experience or equivalent (for Electrician I).
Minimum of three years of on-the-job experience or equivalent (for Electrician II).

Nice To Haves

Grade 1 ADEQ certification is desired.
Experience in electrical/process controls within water and wastewater utilities is highly desired.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical and process control equipment maintenance at well sites, water plants, pumping stations, and other facilities.
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, adjust, calibrate, and fabricate a wide variety of electronic and electro-mechanical equipment including generators, motors, relays, switch gears, instrumentation, alarm circuits, and programmable controllers.
Evaluate part and equipment failures; order parts, materials, and supplies required for electrical and mechanical repairs.
Interact with contractors and support installation of process control equipment.
Collaborate with Instrumentation and Controls Engineers on design, review, and implementation of process control systems.
Ensure operational integrity meets regulatory and company standards for quality, environment, reliability, health, safety, and security.
