EPCOR is hiring a full-time Electrician I or II to join our Anthem, AZ operations team. This is your opportunity to work on advanced electrical systems that power essential water and wastewater facilities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Completion of a recognized four-year apprenticeship program or equivalent training.
  • Two years of industrial electrician experience at a skilled level.
  • Valid Arizona driver’s license with excellent driving record.
  • Knowledge of utility system maintenance programs and working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and process control equipment.
  • Computer proficiency with Word and Excel.
  • Minimum of two years of on-the-job experience or equivalent (for Electrician I).
  • Minimum of three years of on-the-job experience or equivalent (for Electrician II).
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old and legally entitled to work in the United States.
  • Clearance on all applicable background checks (which may include criminal, driving, educational, and/or credit) and professional reference checks is required.
  • Clearance on pre-employment drug testing will be required.

Nice To Haves

  • Grade 1 ADEQ certification is desired.
  • Experience in electrical/process controls within water and wastewater utilities is highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical and process control equipment maintenance at well sites, water plants, pumping stations, and other facilities.
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, adjust, calibrate, and fabricate a wide variety of electronic and electro-mechanical equipment including generators, motors, relays, switch gears, instrumentation, alarm circuits, and programmable controllers.
  • Evaluate part and equipment failures; order parts, materials, and supplies required for electrical and mechanical repairs.
  • Interact with contractors and support installation of process control equipment.
  • Collaborate with Instrumentation and Controls Engineers on design, review, and implementation of process control systems.
  • Ensure operational integrity meets regulatory and company standards for quality, environment, reliability, health, safety, and security.
