About The Position
The Electrician Helper supports licensed electricians with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems on job sites. This role involves preparing materials, running wire and conduit, maintaining tools and equipment, and keeping work areas clean and safe.
Requirements
- Ability to assist licensed electricians with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Ability to carry, organize, and hand tools and materials to electricians.
- Ability to help run and pull wire, conduit, and cable.
- Ability to prepare job sites by gathering and staging materials and equipment.
- Ability to measure, cut, and bend conduit as directed.
- Ability to load and unload materials and equipment at job sites.
- Ability to maintain and organize tools and equipment.
- Ability to keep the work area, truck, and job site clean and safe.
- Ability to follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Ability to report unsafe conditions or equipment issues to the lead electrician or supervisor.
