About The Position
CEMCO Systems is looking for an Electrician Helper to support our electrical team with installations, service, and maintenance work. This entry-level opportunity is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to build a career in the electrical and life safety industry.
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and work in varying job-site conditions is required.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous construction, electrical, mechanical, or low-voltage experience is a plus, but not required.
- Basic computer and email skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist Electricians with installation, service, and maintenance activities.
- Help install and route electrical wiring, conduit, equipment, and components.
- Load, unload, stage, and organize tools and materials.
- Assist with pulling wire, drilling, mounting equipment, and other installation tasks.
- Follow project drawings, instructions, and applicable safety requirements.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Assist with troubleshooting and repairs as skills develop.
- Participate in safety meetings and on-the-job training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
