About The Position

Plans, lays out, installs, tests, and repairs wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, motors, equipment, and control systems in accordance with applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. This is an intermediate-level role involving electrical installation, troubleshooting, testing, and repair across high- and low-voltage systems.

Requirements

May require a high school diploma or equivalent, with previous experience in the field or a related area.
Possess working knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.
Understand, follow, and communicate written and oral instructions effectively with management and supervision.
Use hand tools, power tools, and layout tools safely and efficiently.
Meet all physical requirements.
Have all required tools.
Climb and work at heights and in confined spaces, potentially exceeding 200 feet.
Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Work overtime, nights, and weekends as required by workload.

Responsibilities

Interpret drawings, sketches, software, and plans, and determine appropriate procedures, tools, and equipment for troubleshooting and repairs.
Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit; weld supports; install cable and duct banks; and make terminations.
Install and secure control and distribution apparatus.
Test and start up systems and check circuit continuity to ensure electrical compatibility and component safety.
Observe installed equipment and systems to identify hazards and determine whether adjustments, relocation, or replacement are needed.
Pull wire through conduit and connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment as required.
Work with high- and low-voltage systems.
Disassemble and repair defective electrical equipment or systems.
Operate electrical and mechanical hand tools, as well as power, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical tools.
Observe and comply with safety and project rules, and perform other duties as required.
