Requirements

  • Licensed Millwright (443A) required
  • Minimum five (5) years of mechanical maintenance and repair experience
  • Grade 12 English and Math, or equivalent
  • Strong working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical layouts, building construction drawings, and schematics
  • Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work on the production floor and provide support over the phone
  • Willingness and ability to work overtime and extended hours as required

Nice To Haves

  • Dual‑ticketed Millwright/Electrician considered an asset
  • Previous experience in facilities or building maintenance is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair building envelope, utilities, services, infrastructure, and related monitoring devices
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, dock and door systems, lighting, and other facility‑related equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance activities in accordance with established schedules and procedures
  • Accurately complete work orders, inspections, reports, and associated documentation
  • Coordinate and oversee external contractors as required
  • Coordinate facilities work with production and other internal departments to minimize disruption
  • Maintain 5S standards, including a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Respond to breakdowns and facility-related issues in a timely manner
  • Coordinate and oversee outside contractors when required
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspections, and work orders
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Responsible for continuous improvement implementation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
