Requirements

Licensed Millwright (443A) required
Minimum five (5) years of mechanical maintenance and repair experience
Grade 12 English and Math, or equivalent
Strong working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Ability to read and interpret mechanical layouts, building construction drawings, and schematics
Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work on the production floor and provide support over the phone
Willingness and ability to work overtime and extended hours as required

Nice To Haves

Dual‑ticketed Millwright/Electrician considered an asset
Previous experience in facilities or building maintenance is an asset

Responsibilities

Inspect, maintain, and repair building envelope, utilities, services, infrastructure, and related monitoring devices
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, dock and door systems, lighting, and other facility‑related equipment
Perform preventative maintenance activities in accordance with established schedules and procedures
Accurately complete work orders, inspections, reports, and associated documentation
Coordinate and oversee external contractors as required
Coordinate facilities work with production and other internal departments to minimize disruption
Maintain 5S standards, including a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Respond to breakdowns and facility-related issues in a timely manner
Coordinate and oversee outside contractors when required
Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspections, and work orders
Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Responsible for continuous improvement implementation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
