About The Position

The Residential Service C 10 Electrician oversees the company’s electrical operations, ensuring high-quality workmanship, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The role combines advanced electrical expertise with leadership, financial oversight, and strategic planning. The position is responsible for executing operational goals, driving profitability, developing field leadership, and aligning electrical operations with company-wide objectives. It reports to the Vice President of Operations. The role oversees residential electrical work, including planning, design, installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair. It also provides advanced troubleshooting support, establishes quality standards, oversees routine maintenance, and keeps the department current with code changes and industry developments. The electrician serves as an escalation point for customers and other stakeholders and enforces safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Oversee planning, design, installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of residential electrical systems and components.
Ensure electrical work complies with applicable codes, safety regulations, and permitting requirements, and sign permits as required.
Interpret and review blueprints, specifications, and electrical codes to ensure accurate, compliant installations.
Provide advanced troubleshooting support and guide crews through technical challenges.
Establish and enforce quality control standards for installations and repairs.
Ensure routine maintenance programs are implemented and followed.
Stay current with industry developments, code changes, and emerging technologies, and implement best practices.
Serve as an escalation point for homeowners, contractors, inspectors, and other stakeholders.
Maintain professional relationships to support repeat and referral business.
Participate in project planning and scope development.
Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
Enforce company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
Conduct safety meetings, audits, and corrective action initiatives.
Ensure employees use appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye protection, masks, and hearing protection.
Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
