About The Position
As an Electrician Assistant, you'll support the Electrical team in keeping park electrical systems and ride components operating safely and reliably during the season. This role exists to provide hands-on help with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting so issues are addressed quickly and work stays on schedule. Key responsibilities include assisting with electrical repairs and upkeep, helping with basic troubleshooting, supporting safe work practices (including lockout/tagout where applicable), and completing assigned tasks across night, weekend, weekday, and swing shifts.
Requirements
- Prior experience assisting with electrical work or maintenance in an industrial, commercial, or similar setting.
- Ability to read and follow directions.
- Ability to work safely around energized equipment.
- Ability to use common hand/power tools.
- Comfort working outdoors.
- Comfort working on your feet in a theme-park environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with electrical repairs and upkeep.
- Help with basic troubleshooting.
- Support safe work practices (including lockout/tagout where applicable).
- Complete assigned tasks across night, weekend, weekday, and swing shifts.
- Check in with the crew lead, review priorities, and gather materials.
- Move between shop areas and field locations.
- Perform inspections.
- Coordinate with other trades.
- Document completed work.
