About The Position
The Electrician Apprentice is responsible for performing electrical related work under the supervision of the Master Electrician and adhering to the regulations mandated by the state of Massachusetts. This is a full-time, hourly position eligible for overtime.
Requirements
- Enrolled in an accredited electricians’ program.
- Must demonstrate basic fundamental knowledge of using a computer.
- Strong customer service, writing, and communication skills.
- Requires proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with SalesForce a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform knob & tube assessments resulting in sign-off or quote.
- Perform IC rated light assessments resulting in sign-off or quote.
- Provide all MASS Save and HWE required documentation.
- Repairing damage by crews to light fixtures, wiring, fuses, or anything electrical related.
- Installing electric thermostats.
- Wiring DMS systems, boiler and furnaces electrical components and hard-wiring smoke detectors.
- Follow rules and regulations of local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Adhere to safety regulations and industry standards.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
