About The Position

This role involves working as an Electrician Apprentice in a construction environment. The apprentice will be responsible for demonstrating safe working procedures, performing conduit installation, and properly installing boxes and fittings in various wall types. The role also requires maintaining equipment, tools, and the work area, and performing other duties as assigned. The work environment can vary, including exterior and interior building work, and may involve restricted or cramped spaces, as well as working at heights.

Requirements

• Commercial or industrial electrical experience
• A positive attitude with the eagerness to go above and beyond
• Reliability and excellent attendance
• A willingness to learn and apply knowledge
• Valid Driver's License
• Successful completion of a background and drug screening
• Ability to detect safety hazards within the building and communicate with appropriate staff as well as follow all mandated safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe working procedures in a construction environment
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of conduit installation
• Perform the proper installation procedures for boxes and fittings in a standard wall; i.e., masonry, concrete, sheetrock, etc.
• Maintain equipment, tools and work area in a clean, orderly and safe condition
• Other duties as assigned
