About The Position

The Electrical Working Supervisor leads electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities for East Plant Surface Operations, with responsibility for safe work execution, equipment reliability, workforce direction, and alignment with production goals. Reporting to the East Maintenance General Foreman, this role directs a multi-discipline team that provides maintenance and reliability services for East Plant Surface Operations. The position is responsible for ensuring equipment and system availability, maintaining asset integrity, and supporting defined production targets that contribute to the organization's business plan goals.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a mine/plant/industrial production environment including operating, maintenance and electrical experience
  • Minimum High School diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Maintenance planning/scheduling experience.
  • Supervision/management experience.

Nice To Haves

  • 3 or more years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership in Health, Safety, and Environment for the electrical and instrumentation maintenance team.
  • Ensure all electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities performed by hourly and contractor personnel are carried out safely, efficiently, and in an environmentally sound manner by documenting and following required procedures, practices, standards, and rules, and by meeting quality initiatives.
  • Provides leadership to ensure that equipment is maintained with maximum efficiency and productivity by initiating corrective action and ensuring maintenance and engineering standards are adhered to.
  • Ensures that human resources policies are applied in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Actively engage employees and contractors by seeking input and feedback on issues affecting the department and on plans for change and growth.
  • Ensure the performance management process is used for team members and that performance is managed to meet the needs of both the company and the employee.
  • Exercise direct and indirect supervision across multiple levels, using leadership skills to drive the performance and behavior of the electrical and instrumentation maintenance team in support of defined business objectives.
