About The Position

Raytheon is seeking a successful candidate to perform any combination of the following tasks in support of the evaluation/rework/repair of various product lines including (but not limited to) RF electronics, electronics assemblies, high-power distribution assemblies, electromechanical assemblies, cable/harness assemblies, electronics rack-mount systems/chassis, circuit card assemblies, and other similar-complexity assemblies. The role involves evaluating failed electrical assemblies, products, components, and software using test and measurement equipment to determine the root cause of failure down to the component level, with a strong emphasis on hands-on evaluation experience. The candidate will perform electronic troubleshooting through technical experience and knowledge, not solely through pre-written step-by-step procedures. This position requires a strong sense of ownership and self-drive to meet or exceed deliverable expectations. The technician will collaborate with senior Electrical Engineering, test technicians, and product Quality Assurance towards evaluating, repairing, and moving failed assemblies through established Repair & Return processes. Additionally, the role involves reading and fully interpreting Assembly Drawings and Schematics, and maintaining control of all Electro-static Sensitive Device (ESD) precautions and processes, ensuring full compliance. Support for Continuous Process Improvements (CPI) Projects is also expected. This will be a 1st shift, onsite role.
