About The Position

Helix Electric, a leading electrical contracting company, is seeking a dynamic Electrical Technician to join their production-driven team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing electrical installations, load bank operations, and troubleshooting in both field and shop environments. This role is crucial for ensuring the performance and compliance of electrical systems.

Requirements

3–5 years of hands-on electrical experience
Proven load banking experience (required)
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in both field and shop environments

Nice To Haves

Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Electrical certifications, completed apprenticeship, or technical training

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and components
Perform load bank setup, testing, monitoring, and teardown
Conduct electrical testing and inspections to ensure performance and compliance
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
Identify issues and implement corrective actions efficiently
Follow all safety standards, company policies, and OSHA regulations
Work independently and collaboratively to complete projects on schedule
