Requirements

  • Journeyman’s license required
  • Solid understanding of NFPA, NEC, and OSHA standards.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret single-line diagrams, technical blueprints, and specifications.
  • Experience working in renewable energy, manufacturing, or cleanroom environments.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical lead for troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of plant electrical systems and infrastructure.
  • Provide hands-on training and guidance to junior technicians and maintenance staff.
  • Assess facility and equipment conditions and make proactive recommendations for upgrades, repairs, and preventative strategies.
  • Support the execution of small capital improvement and O&M projects.
  • Oversee work performed by external vendors, ensuring compliance with T1 Energy policies, OSHA standards, and local/federal codes.
  • Perform electrical wiring, testing, inspections, and maintenance of environmental and life safety systems under regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Read and interpret complex diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Troubleshoots simple AC circuitry. Identifies and replaces blown fuses
  • Systematically perform power recovery of the building
  • Conducts operation, maintenance, tests, and repairs of mechanical, electrical and controls equipment, systems, and components
  • Applies knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and mechanical support
