About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking an Electrical Technician for a contract position with a Global Medical Technology Company in Weston, FL. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity where the technician will provide technical support to engineers on various electrical tasks within a skilled trade function. The role requires a foundational understanding of work routines and procedures, adherence to defined guidelines, and the ability to make simple judgments in straightforward situations.

Requirements

Knowledge acquired through experience, specialized education, or training
Basic understanding of work routines and procedures in own discipline
Ability to follow detailed and defined rules and instructions
2-4 years of experience with electrical troubleshooting and diagnosis/repair
2-4 years of experience reading electrical schematics
2-4 years of experience with prototyping

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to engineers on a variety of electrical technical tasks
Develop and recommend procedures and methods
Prepare technical reports and documentation
Perform technical evaluations of events to determine root cause
Recommend corrective action
