A Kent, Ohio manufacturer is seeking to hire an Electrical Technician. This role offers steady, hands-on electrical work splitting time between our Ravenna shop and regional customer sites. Requirements

• 2+ years of industrial electrical, panel wiring, or industrial maintenance experience.
• Proven ability to read, interpret, and follow electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Familiarity with machine safety hardware (e.g., E-stops, interlocks, safety relays).
• Hands-on proficiency with standard hand tools, measuring devices, and electrical test equipment.
• Basic PLC wiring knowledge is required.
• A strict safety mindset with the ability to work in heavy industrial environments.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.

Nice To Haves

• Programming skills are a huge plus!
• Associate degree in an electrical/technical field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire industrial control panels directly from schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Install panels into industrial machinery, connecting critical sensors, motors, interlocks, and safety devices.
• Perform precise conduit installation, wire pulling, and secure electrical terminations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems both in our Ravenna shop and live at customer sites.
• Balance your time between productive shop work and exciting field service travel (up to 50%).
