The position involves working with industrial systems and offers opportunities for self-development and travel. Training is provided to demonstrate exceptional customer service, conduct oneself in a safe manner, and respect safety rules. The technician will participate in assembly work associated with control cabinets, pendant controls, electrical boxes, and special attachments, taking ownership of industrial wiring projects for precise equipment. This includes installing automation and prototype equipment with advanced opportunities for troubleshooting all components, establishing and maintaining good communication with the team, and measuring, examining, and testing AC/DC circuits with a multi-meter to diagnose and troubleshoot problems. The role also involves three-phase wiring of miscellaneous motors for spindles, conveyors, pumps, and VFDs, and supporting the engineering team with motion control systems, PLCs, and robotics. The technician will ensure conformance to specifications and assist in development through training and shared knowledge, identifying equipment and process concerns and providing improvement suggestions.
