About The Position

This Electrical Technician position will require a hands-on individual that can work with manufacturing and production team to evaluate, implement, develop, and maintain solutions to complex manufacturing process. Review 3D CAD models and engineering drawings to develop accurate manufacturing work instructions per manufacturing engineering specifications. Create and update Standard Work, work instructions, SOPs, and visual aids for fabrication and assembly operations. Collaborate with design, Safety, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure instructions reflect current processes, standards and aligned with lean principles. Specify and document equipment, tooling assembly sequences, fixtures, and quality checkpoints. Assist in updating and maintaining documentation for engineering changes and process improvements. Ensure all documentation aligns with XNRGY’s quality and safety criteria. Provide feedback to engineers on potential design-for-manufacturing improvements based on Lean Manufacturing best practices.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or technical documentation role.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting 3D models and engineering drawings.
  • Experience with AutoCAD & Autodesk Inventor.
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as sheet metal fabrication, welding, assembly, and testing.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments in a fast-paced production environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • SolidWorks experience a plus.
