About The Position

Entegris is seeking an Electrical Technician I for its Advanced Purity Solutions Division at the San Luis Obispo, CA facility. This role is responsible for performing electrical panel layout and wiring tasks for Ultra High Purity Systems, ensuring all work is performed safely and in compliance with work instructions and drawings.

Requirements

Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
0-2 years of experience in electrical assembly and/or basic experience in electrical assembly.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs daily.
Ability to climb ladders and be on your feet for extended periods of time.
Ability to pay attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
Ability to perform visual checks and handle material responsibly.
Ability to use a computer and learn basic data entry.
Dependable and flexible.
Must be able to work over-time and weekends to support business needs.

Responsibilities

Learn and understand standard and non-standard options per Customer Data Sheets (CDS) requirements.
Wire panels following schematics, wire diagrams, and verbal instructions.
Layout components on electrical panels according to instructions and drawings.
Assemble point-to-point wiring, including cable and harness installation.
Learn engineering specifications to produce quality and accurate products in a timely manner.
Assist with 6S responsibilities (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain, safety).
Maintain a safe and clean work environment and maintain or increase on-time shipments.
Work safely and recognize the safety of others.
Provide accuracy and consistency in work performance.
Learn proper measuring techniques, tool use, care, and quality standards.
Work with a team as well as independently when needed.
