About The Position

UE Manufacturing is looking for a Temporary Electrical Technician I to perform maintenance, installation, and repair of electrical systems on heavy equipment by applying electrical principles. This role is located at 10000 NW 2nd, Oklahoma City, OK 73127. There is potential for this role to convert into a full-time permanent position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient ability to calibrate, test, troubleshoot and install instrumentation and/or electrical equipment.
• Able to read blueprints.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures.
• Must be capable of utilizing proper PPE.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the manufacturing industry working with low, medium, and high voltage electrical equipment maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repairing and replacing defective parts in controllers, switchboards, switches, conductors, and other electrical fixtures.
• Installing and maintaining electrical components.
• Performing preventive repair and maintenance of field electrical systems, devices, equipment, and components.
• Testing solid-state circuitry to find defective parts in digital and analog equipment and replacing defective parts.
• Installing enhancements and major upgrades to electrical subsystems.
• Designing and modifying motor power control equipment circuits, reading, and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Ensuring the accuracy and completion of all preventive maintenance duties.
• Maintaining a strong, personal commitment to the safety culture.
• All other duties as assigned.
