About The Position

As an ET3 you will be an integral part of our manufacturing team, responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. Under the guidance of experienced electricians, you will gain practical hands-on experience and develop the skills necessary to become a qualified electrician.

Requirements

3+ years of experience installing and repairing equipment in the electrical field.
High school diploma/ GED or equivalent.
Willingness to learn and take directions from experienced electricians.
Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
Able to meet deadlines, prioritize activities, and obtain information when needed.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to train and assist others to acquire needed job knowledge and skills.

Nice To Haves

Certificate of completion from a trade school program or an associate’s degree in a related field.
Previous education in a recognized apprenticeship program or vocational training in electrical systems.

Responsibilities

Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
Must be able to read a tape measure, terminate wires, use hand and power tools, and bend EMT and rigid conduit.
Construct and fabricate parts using hand tools and specifications.
Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine wiring layouts and specifications.
Test and inspect electrical systems and components to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards.
Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
