About The Position

We are seeking an Electrical Technical Specialist to provide technical troubleshooting support to maintenance and operations teams in order to restore product flow and minimize equipment downtime. This position will provide technical leadership and training to maintenance and craft employees while developing technical solutions to recurring design, process, and application issues. The Electrical Technical Specialist will analyze equipment and process data to identify opportunities for improvement and will assist the maintenance department with both short- and long-term outage planning. This role will also support supervisors and maintenance personnel in addressing equipment issues and action items identified through daily management processes. The position requires a strong technical background in industrial electrical systems and controls, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Follow all environmental, health and safety, quality, continuous improvement, and company policies.
  • Support the design and improvement of manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Develop, manage, and implement small capital projects, major repairs, and maintenance projects.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives involving manufacturing methods and processes.
  • Collaborate closely with maintenance and craft employees.
  • Serve as a technical resource and provide guidance to manufacturing personnel.
  • Assist with the evaluation and justification of new equipment.
  • Work with other manufacturing departments to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Provide direct technical support to maintenance and process engineering teams.
  • Respond to maintenance and equipment trouble calls on a 24/7 basis.
  • Assist with and coordinate lockout/tagout safety procedures.
  • Support maintenance and production operations across shifts and weekends as needed.
  • Analyze equipment and process data to identify opportunities for reliability, efficiency, and process improvements.
  • Assist with short- and long-term outage planning.
  • Support supervisors and maintenance teams with equipment issues and corrective action items.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
