About The Position

The Electrical Tech Voltage Lead will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hydraulic fracturing equipment. This role involves troubleshooting various electrical systems and components, installing and repairing electrical and electronic parts, and providing emergency field support. The lead will also be responsible for training and mentoring technicians, ensuring safety and QHSE compliance, and maintaining records and documentation.

Requirements

• 4-7 years of relevant experience
• Valid Driver License
• Medium-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems
• Electrical testing equipment and diagnostics
• Instrumentation and controls
• Electrical schematics, blueprints and P&IDs
• Networking and radio communications
• Microsoft Office
• NFPA 70E and IEEE 1584
• Leadership and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Associate Degree in related field
• Journeyman Electrician designation

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hydraulic fracturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot switchgear, breakers, transformers, motors, drives and power distribution systems.
• Maintain PLCs, protective relays, control systems and networks.
• Install, test and repair electrical and electronic components.
• Drive to field locations for emergency repairs.
• Train and mentor technicians.
• Maintain safety, QHSE compliance, records and documentation.
