Performs a wide variety of tasks in the electrical department. Assembles instrument panels with trays, wire harnesses, and other necessary components to yield a finished product to be installed on aircraft. Builds sub-assembly electrical components for a multitude of aircraft. Works on switch panels and circuit breaker panels on aircraft. Utilizes hand and portable tools such as crimp and soldering tools, drill motor, screw gun, etc. Requires general supervision to complete tasks and additional on-the-job training. Needs assistance to find solutions to solve problems. Listens to concerns and responds appropriately based on feedback given through the learning curve. Will learn to identify the need for improvements and be open to new ideas.
