This position, located in Independence, KS, involves performing basic level functions to operate, maintain, test, and calibrate measurement, regulating, and instrumentation and control facilities and systems for natural gas. Key responsibilities include responding to natural gas and other emergencies, maintaining accurate records, and executing scheduled equipment inspections, tests, calibrations, maintenance, and replacements for various devices such as electronic correctors, EFMs, flow measurement devices, natural gas pressure regulation equipment, and natural gas odorizing equipment. The role also assists with functions related to large diaphragm, turbine, rotary, orifice, ultrasonic, and coriolis meters, as well as communication circuits and SCADA equipment. Additionally, the position involves inspecting, testing, calibrating, and maintaining natural gas quality analysis equipment, coordinating measurement tests with third-party companies, monitoring natural gas quality, and investigating operational balancing systems to improve results. All work must adhere to Company, regulatory, and safety procedures.
