About The Position

EAC Consulting, Inc. (EAC) is seeking an Electrical Systems Supervisor for its Miami Office. EAC is a firm specializing in infrastructure solutions, offering services in planning, design, construction management, and program management across various sectors including transportation, site development, utilities, water/wastewater, airports, and seaports. The role involves supervising shore power operations at the Port of Miami, ensuring efficient and safe operations, maintenance, and compliance with contractual agreements and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical systems installations, operations, or supervision.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting and coordinating maintenance of complex electrical systems.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance standards for electrical systems.
• Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related technical field preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
• Electrical safety certifications or other relevant technical certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate regular communication with Port Miami personnel and associated stakeholders.
• Coordinate daily operations with the system operator, Port of Miami and other relevant entities.
• Monitor daily shore power connections and commissioning calls.
• Oversee compliance with contractual agreements, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
• Supervise routine and emergency maintenance activities.
• Assist with troubleshooting and coordinate repairs with relevant teams.
• Enforce safety protocols during all shore power operations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Ensure all personnel are appropriately trained and certified.
• Maintain comprehensive records of shore power operations, including connection logs, maintenance reports, and safety documentation.
• Coordination with the Senior Electrical (Lead) to lead investigations into deficiencies and collaborate with manufacturers to resolve operational issues.
• Perform root cause analyses for operational inefficiencies or failures.
