About The Position

Serves as the lead representative for the company at a data center construction site, directing and coordinating the activities of the Electrical group. Provides management oversight for all phases of the construction project, including coordinating workers, material, and equipment and ensuring that specifications are being followed.

Requirements

7-10 years of experience supervising Heavy Industrial Electrical projects involving a variety of layout, installation, and construction and maintenance tasks
Data Center experience required
Open to travel and possible rotating schedule
Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
Possess valid drivers’ license with a good driving record

Nice To Haves

Current Journeyman or Master Electrical License preferred
Renewable experience a plus

Responsibilities

Overall accountability for job site safety and quality assurance/quality control procedures.
Look ahead to avoid conflicts in timing between crafts.
Deal effectively with employees and various levels of customer representatives in order to resolve scheduling problems, determine work priorities, and assess the relative magnitude of project requirements as they impact project scheduling.
Define and monitor expected results from each subordinate to ensure achievement relative to work output, quality of work, accidents (both to employees and to equipment) and training.
Monitor daily work progress, and evaluate and counsel subordinates.
Write reports and administer policies.
Keep current procedures, policies and methods in use each day.
Respond to time pressure exerted in an emergency situation.
Conduct performance appraisals and recommend wage adjustments.
Discipline employees, including termination when warranted (after discussion with Management).
Work in operating facilities and observe and abide by additional safety policies and procedures.
