About The Position
Bala Consulting Engineers is seeking an ambitious degreed Electrical Engineer in our Arlington, VA office who thrives on challenges and wants to grow their career. Suitable candidates should possess basic knowledge of and exposure to building design. Once you begin your career at Bala, you will be engaged in a comprehensive training program with the mutual goal of providing you with a strong technical base to become a successful engineer at our firm. As a multi-discipline engineering firm, Bala is a leader in innovative designs for building systems in High Rise, Mission Critical, Multi-Unit Housing, Commercial Office, Higher Education, Transportation, Adaptive Reuse and Life Science facilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (BSEE, BET), with relevant internship/co-op experience
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- General knowledge of applicable codes
- Strong technical writing
- Presentation and client interface ability
Nice To Haves
- EIT accreditation a plus
Responsibilities
