Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of field electrical experience
• Strong understanding of electrical installation practices, electrical theory, and common electrical components
• Ability to review designs and identify potential installation or material issues
• Some computer experience is necessary. Training provided
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Regularly required to talk or hear.
• Regular periods of sitting or standing may be required by this position.
• Ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

• Solar installation or design experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Reviewing electrical designs and bills of materials (BOMs) to ensure accuracy, code compliance, and constructability before projects move into the field.
• Work closely with both field and office teams to resolve design questions, verify material selections, and help projects progress smoothly from design through installation.
• Ensure that every design and material package is appropriate for the specific project.
• Review and support a variety of residential electrical projects, including: Main Panel Upgrades (MPUs), Solar PV systems, Battery energy storage systems, Trenching layouts, Ground-mounted solar installations.
