Over The Moon Hiring Electrical Service Technicians — Recent Trade School Grads Welcome to Apply! At Over the Moon Heating, Air & Electric, we don't just run wire — we build the next generation of Journeyman electricians. If you just finished an electrical program and you're ready to log real hours, this is your first big move. Tired of being told you need "5 years’ experience" for entry-level work? Just finished an electrical program and ready to apply it? Want a sponsor who'll help you get to your Journeyman card? Ready to earn while you finish your apprenticeship? This position is for an Entry-Level Electrical Service Technician — recent grads of electrical programs welcome. Over the Moon is a fast-growing residential HVAC and electrical team in Waukesha. We sponsor apprentices through to Journeyman and invest in the techs who invest in themselves.
Requirements
- Recent graduate of an electrical program (technical college, trade school, or military training) — current students finishing within 90 days encouraged to apply
- Wisconsin Registered Electrical Apprentice card (or eligibility to obtain immediately — we'll help)
- 0–2 years residential electrical field experience preferred (internships, helper, and helper-apprentice roles count)
- Solid command of NEC basics, residential wiring, and troubleshooting
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Customer-friendly — you'll be in people's homes
- Able to pass a background check and drug screen
- Recent graduate of an electrical program (or current student finishing within 90 days)
- Valid driver's license; able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Solid command of NEC basics
- Strong learning attitude and customer communication
Responsibilities
- Run service calls and installs alongside our Journeyman electricians
- Diagnose and repair residential electrical issues
- Assist on panel swaps, service upgrades, EV chargers, generators, and rewires
- Apply your classroom knowledge in real Waukesha homes
- Continue logging apprenticeship hours toward your Journeyman card
- Progress with raises tied to license milestones
