About The Position

F.H. Furr is seeking a high-performing Residential Electrician/Safety Advisor to join their growing electrical division. This is a sales-focused role dedicated to helping homeowners make informed decisions about electrical safety, reliability, and whole‑home power solutions. The role involves meeting with homeowners, evaluating electrical systems, identifying safety or upgrade opportunities, and presenting clear solution options. The primary focus is on sales, customer education, and delivering a 5‑star experience, while licensed installers complete the actual work.

Requirements

Experience selling residential electrical services and/or generators
Strong ability to present options and communicate value
Proven ability to build trust and credibility in the home
Comfortable in a performance-driven, metrics-focused sales environment
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
Organized and detail-oriented with strong documentation habits

Nice To Haves

Current residential electrical sales experience
Generator sales experience
Battery backup / whole-home power system sales experience
Residential service electricians with $700,000+ in personal electrical/generator sales

Responsibilities

Conduct in-home electrical evaluations and identify customer needs
Sell residential electrical service work, backup generators, and battery backup/energy storage solutions
Present multiple solution options tailored to safety, functionality, and budget
Build strong rapport and credibility with homeowners
Educate customers on electrical safety, reliability, and upgrade benefits
Clearly document recommendations and sold work
Coordinate with installation teams for a seamless post-sale handoff
Maintain strong close rates while delivering outstanding customer service
