Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial properties.
• Install and upgrade electrical panels to meet current code requirements and increase power capacity.
• Perform load calculations to ensure systems are properly designed and meet capacity needs.
• Install or repair electrical service entrances, including main disconnects and meter bases.
• Wire new homes, buildings, and large commercial projects in accordance with code.
• Perform grounding and bonding to help prevent electrical shock hazards.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty circuit breakers, fuses, and wiring issues.
• Install, repair, and maintain lighting control systems such as dimmers and occupancy sensors.
• Install and maintain electrical distribution systems, including transformers and distribution boards.
• Conduct electrical inspections and ensure work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
