About The Position

An established and growing electrical services organization is seeking an experienced Electrical Service Manager to lead and expand its service operations. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing service technicians, driving operational excellence, managing customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring profitability within the service department. The ideal candidate is a licensed Journeyman Electrician with a proven track record of managing service teams, growing revenue, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • Journeyman Electrical License (minimum requirement).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Electrical Service Management.
  • Experience managing multiple service technicians and field personnel.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat
  • Proficiency with Project Management Software (Procore or similar)
  • Proficiency with Service Management Software (ServiceTitan or equivalent)
  • Proven ability to acquire and retain customers.
  • Strong understanding of service department financial performance and operational management.

  • Existing customer relationships and/or book of business.
  • Experience growing service operations and expanding market presence.
  • Background in commercial and industrial electrical service work.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage multiple electrical service technicians.
  • Oversee daily service operations, scheduling, dispatching, and resource allocation.
  • Drive department growth through customer acquisition, relationship management, and business development efforts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial, industrial, and residential customers.
  • Ensure service work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
  • Monitor project and service performance, profitability, and key operational metrics.
  • Collaborate with leadership to establish and achieve revenue, profitability, and performance goals.
  • Assist in estimating, proposal development, and service agreement sales.
  • Implement and maintain best practices for service delivery, customer satisfaction, and team performance.
  • Utilize service management and project management software to track operations, reporting, and performance.
