About The Position

STG Electric Services is seeking a highly organized and motivated Electric Service Coordinator to join our team. The Service Coordinator will be responsible for managing service requests, coordinating electrical service jobs, scheduling field technicians, and ensuring seamless communication between clients, field personnel, and the operations team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring customer satisfaction and timely service delivery in our residential and commercial electrical projects.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a coordination or administrative role within the electrical or construction industry is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with customers, technicians, and management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software; experience with project management tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge of electrical services and terminology is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check.

  • Experience with project management tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge of electrical services and terminology is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, prioritize, and schedule electrical service requests from customers.
  • Coordinate daily schedules and dispatch electricians to various job sites.
  • Track work orders and manage project timelines to ensure timely completion of service calls.
  • Act as a point of contact between customers and field technicians, addressing any service-related inquiries or concerns.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure necessary materials are available for service jobs.
  • Maintain accurate records of service jobs, including customer interactions, job status updates, and completion reports.
  • Assist with preparing estimates and quotes for electrical services, as required.
  • Communicate job updates to management and provide regular progress reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during service operations.
  • Collaborate with the billing department to ensure accurate and timely invoicing of service jobs.
  • Support electricians in the field with any coordination issues, including obtaining permits or resolving job site challenges.
  • Continually improve processes and systems to optimize service delivery and customer satisfaction.
