Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates Degree or 3-5 years Industrial electrical and electronics trade skills, certification, or equivalent
  • Reading and interpreting wiring schematics
  • Must have a strong attendance record
  • Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be able to work hours outside of the regular shift
  • Must have good mechanical aptitude
  • Must be able to wear a respirator

Responsibilities

  • Install, trouble shoot and repair a variety of complex electrical systems and electronic devices.
  • Ability to read and work from drawing & schematic diagrams
  • Must be able to use industry standard electrical measuring devices, and other job specific power tools
  • Maintain industrial electronic power supply, motor controls, PLC, and transformers
  • Perform work to national electrical code
  • Perform continuous improvement initiatives
  • May be required to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position in support of department objectives and to develop one’s skills
  • Support the cell’s continuous improvement and all CORE and EH&S initiatives, including wearing required personal protective equipment
  • Must have basic computer skills
  • Call-in/overtime when required
