Graywolf Integrated Construction is seeking a project-based Electrical QA/QC Inspector in Conyers, GA. The Electrical QA/QC Inspector role is responsible for quality inspections related to electrical certifications, permits, and project status.

Requirements

  • Four (4) years of formal training and experience in heavy industrial projects such as refineries, petro-chemical complexes, power plants, etc.
  • State Electrical Journeyman License
  • NCCER Industrial Electrician certification (prefer both knowledge and performance verification)
  • Experience in understanding ITPs, WPSs, PQRs, and WPQs
  • Ability to effectively interact with project team members, clients, subcontractors and craft employees.
  • Must be capable of obtaining or possess inspection licenses and/or certifications as required.
  • Read, write and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions as required by client and/or facility policy.
  • Must be able to communicate and document via company web mail programs.
  • Must be able to successfully complete all required pre-hire requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of PFD’s, P&ID’s, Isometrics and Loop Diagrams

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and maintain quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
  • Maintain quality control procedures for each stage of the manufacturing and/or installation process and conduct regular inspections, audits, and evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collect data for identifying trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is complete, organized, and accessible for audits.
  • Perform improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
  • Work closely with team members to address quality issues, resolve conflicts, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with team members to address customer concerns and ensure satisfaction.
  • Identify potential risks to product quality and mitigate risk through collaborative problem solving and contingency plans.
  • Participate in quality control meetings with project team and/or customer.
  • Maintain Quality and Commissioning Schedules on the jobsite.
  • Communicate and manage open observations with installation teams.
