About The Position

Volt is immediately hiring a Direct Placement Electrical Project Manager with a strong background in commercial electrical construction and tenant improvements in Los Angeles, CA. Our client, a leading Southern California electrical contractor, is seeking a Project Manager to oversee high-profile commercial projects ranging from $5M-$15M+. The ideal candidate comes from a well-established electrical contracting environment and has successfully managed complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Requirements

8+ years of Electrical Project Management experience
Proven success managing commercial electrical construction projects
Strong experience with Tenant Improvement (TI) projects
Experience managing projects valued between $5M-$15M+
Background with established electrical contractors serving the Southern California market
Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and contract administration
Stable career progression with a strong track record of project success

Responsibilities

Manage multiple commercial electrical construction projects simultaneously
Lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and execution
Oversee financial performance, forecasting, and change order management
Coordinate with owners, general contractors, vendors, and field teams
Drive projects to successful completion while maintaining safety, quality, and profitability
Build and maintain strong client relationships that lead to repeat business
