Electrical Project Manager
About The Position
Our client has been in business for 45 years and has grown to become one of the region’s largest merit shop electrical contractors. We currently rank #27 on the Top 50 Electrical Contractors Listing published by Engineering News Record in October 2023 and #10 among electrical contractors in the Southeast. Our growing company is seeking an experienced Project Manager that can handle multiple electrical construction projects valued at $1M to $5M+ based out of our office in Doraville, GA. The Project Manager position requires initiative, attention to detail, the ability to learn quickly and a strong capability to manage relationships with people across all levels utilizing solid communication skills. This is an ideal position for an enthusiastic, motivated individual who is passionate about delivering high quality, safe and profitable electrical installations in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Electrical license
- Experience as a field electrician or foreman
- 5+ years of electrical project management experience
- Demonstrated computer skills
Responsibilities
- Managing all phases of electrical project development and execution to include take-offs, safety, project as-builts, coordination layouts, scheduling, documentation, labor, and materials tracking/submittals.
- Building relationships through communicating and coordinating with general contractors, suppliers and attending job meetings.
- Leading a team and grow talent by interacting with and coaching field staff
- Owning the budget process from start to finish.
