About The Position

This role is responsible for managing electrical engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they align with project timelines, client specifications, and quality standards. The Electrical Project Manager will coordinate internal teams, track project progress, manage documentation, plan resources, and support material purchasing and supplier management. The position also involves client interaction, sales support, and ensuring adherence to various ISO certifications and quality management systems.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (e.g., Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics).
  • 5 years’ experience required in the areas of Electrical Engineering (Controls, HW/SW Design, Pneumatic design, Electrical Installation).
  • Knowledge of Hardware/Software design, Virtual Commissioning (PLC and Robot Programming) Technology (spot, adhesive, Mig/Mag, etc.).
  • Knowledge and understanding of Project Management.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, SAP, Management tools.
  • Strong leadership and proven supervisory skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree (Master's or higher) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal teams to ensure the development of electrical engineering projects according to the project timeline and requirements.
  • Continuously update project information and progress using the PME indicator and quality gate.
  • Maintain up-to-date project forms and documents in compliance with ISO 9001 internal processes.
  • Carry out and update personnel and resource plans, ensuring all relevant documentation is stored on the designated server and follows PME procedures.
  • Actively identify project risks and issues and escalate them in a timely manner.
  • Assist with the purchasing process for materials required for electrical projects.
  • Review and approve requests for materials and services within the electrical engineering area.
  • Make use of PM TOOL (FIVE) portal for project status report & SAP for control of project.
  • Create and issue Request for Quotations (RFQs) and manage supplier contracting processes.
  • Manage and oversee suppliers to ensure they meet technical, personnel, and material requirements for the project.
  • Pre-authorize invoices for progress payments to service providers or for the delivery of materials.
  • Visit clients regularly to support project activities, resolve issues, and support sales efforts for new projects or services.
  • Provide technical expertise and recommendations during client meetings to secure new projects or enhance relationships with existing clients.
  • Ensure the electrical engineering department delivers projects according to client specifications and project goals.
  • Secure the final acceptance of the project ensuring that all deliverables have been completed and meet the agreed-upon specifications.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and AS 9100 Certifications by applying industry best practices in project execution, quality management, and safety standards.
  • Ensure knowledge and application of FFT Quality Management.
