About The Position

Our Auburn site, located near Portland, Maine, is a key production facility for feminine care products. Founded in 1968, the Auburn plant has grown to nearly 600 employees and emphasizes a culture of safety, quality, confidence, and trust. We are currently seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join our Site Engineering team, focusing on capital projects for facilities, construction, and utilities. A primary focus will be the delivery of two new warehouses incorporating supply chain 4.0 technologies to enhance manufacturing and inventory excellence. This role offers significant engagement, visibility, and ownership, leveraging project management and technical expertise to drive exceptional results.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant project engineering experience
  • BS or MS in an Electrical Engineering, an electrically related technical degree, or relevant electrical experience (including military service)
  • Demonstrated portfolio and project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Financial and budget management experience
  • Multi-functional team leadership experience
  • Demonstrated technical mastery, leadership, & collaboration skills

Nice To Haves

  • Prior manufacturing industry experience
  • Project manager certifications like CAPM, PMP, etc

Responsibilities

  • Deliver projects as a mid-level individual contributor.
  • Manage strategic projects across site, region, and business unit stakeholders.
  • Create front end technical base plans.
  • Work with a central project delivery team based in Cincinnati.
  • Prepare project timelines inclusive of key project milestones, providing transparency to the project team(s) and communicating with cross-functional teams.
  • Manage risks and define resolution strategies while creating clarity in ambiguous situations.
  • Develop new processes and routines for increased visibility and accountability.
  • Report on project progress and communicate relevant information to manager & leadership.
