About The Position

P&G is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer for its Auburn plant, a key facility in the Feminine Care business unit. This role is part of the Site Engineering team, focusing on capital projects related to facilities, construction, utilities, and site-wide initiatives. The current priority is the delivery of two new warehouses equipped with supply chain 4.0 technologies to enhance manufacturing and inventory excellence. The position involves managing and executing project activities within the warehouse construction scope, which can range from a portfolio of smaller projects to full ownership of a larger project. Project budgets are between $500K and $10 million. This role offers significant engagement, visibility, and ownership, leveraging project management and technical expertise to achieve exceptional results for the site and the company.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant project engineering experience.
  • BS or MS in an Electrical Engineering, an electrically related technical degree, or relevant electrical experience (including military service).
  • Demonstrated portfolio and project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Financial and budget management experience.
  • Multi-functional team leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated technical mastery, leadership, & collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior manufacturing industry experience.
  • Project manager certifications like CAPM, PMP, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver projects as a mid-level individual contributor.
  • Manage strategic projects across site, region, and business unit stakeholders.
  • Create front end technical base plans.
  • Work with a central project delivery team based in Cincinnati.
  • Prepare project timelines inclusive of key project milestones, providing transparency to the project team(s) and communicating with cross-functional teams.
  • Manage risks and define resolution strategies while creating clarity in ambiguous situations.
  • Develop new processes and routines for increased visibility and accountability.
  • Report on project progress and communicate relevant information to manager & leadership.
  • Facilities expansion and upgrades.
  • Warehouse construction and logistics automation (AGV expansion, automated racking systems, and other material handling / movement initiatives).
  • Driving cost savings and sustainability initiatives for site utilities.
  • Capital procurement.
