About The Position

Our client is looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to lead electrical projects supporting manufacturing facility expansions, utility upgrades, and capital improvement projects. This role offers the opportunity to manage projects from planning through commissioning while working with cross-functional engineering, construction, and operations teams. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical experience
- Experience managing electrical engineering or construction projects
- Knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E standards
- Experience supporting industrial manufacturing or construction environments
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
Nice To Haves
- 3-5 years of consulting engineering experience
- 3-5 years of industrial construction or project management experience
- Experience supporting active manufacturing facilities
- Experience with capital improvement projects
- Medium Voltage electrical system experience
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical projects from planning through final commissioning
- Define project scope and develop technical specifications
- Coordinate with internal engineering teams and consulting engineering firms
- Review electrical designs and construction documents
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates
- Coordinate procurement of electrical equipment and materials
- Support contractor bidding and selection
- Oversee installation activities during construction
- Manage project changes and contractor performance
- Coordinate startup and commissioning activities
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget
- Work closely with mechanical, civil, manufacturing, and operations teams throughout project execution
