About The Position

GEA Refrigeration North America, Inc., an industrial refrigeration manufacturer headquartered in York, PA, is searching for an Electrical Project Engineer - Control Systems. This role involves designing, developing, and testing configurations in a fast-paced environment, configuring programs for control of industrial refrigeration equipment, and working to refine contract details. The engineer will oversee the creation of electrical contract drawings, write manuals explaining configured control logic, and provide start-up support for executed contracts. Additionally, there is an expectation to share productivity enhancements found with other Project Engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field highly preferred.
  • Participation in Internship or Co-op program preferred.
  • 0-5 years of related experience
  • Knowledge of industrial refrigeration, panel building, electrical drafting, PLC programming, and/or VBA scripting is preferred.
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word
  • Experience/Exposure to the following is preferred: Allen-Bradley ControlLogix Standard Controllers, RSLogix™ 5000 programming software AutoCAD Ethernet/RS-485 communications XML/VB/PLC/SCADA Discrete Logic Programming
