About The Position

The Electrical Program Manager will perform activities related to project management, including identifying, defining, combining, unifying, and coordinating various processes and project management activities. This role is responsible for ensuring projects include the correct scope, planning, execution, monitoring, and control of project timelines and budgets. The manager will oversee quality standards, resource allocation, information management, change control, risk management, and procurement for mid to large-sized projects. Stakeholder management is also a key aspect of this role, involving identification, analysis, and development of strategies for effective engagement.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience.
  • Minimum of 7+ years in a Project Management position.
  • Experience leading in a large team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • PMP Preferred or the ability to obtain PMP within 12 months of employment.
  • Experience in engineering and design of high voltage (69-500kV) transmission lines using PLS-CADD.
  • Knowledge of conducting analysis to ensure system reliability and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, define, combine, unify, and coordinate the various processes and project management activities.
  • Ensure that projects of all sizes include all the required scope, and only the required scope, to successfully complete a project per the contract.
  • Plan, execute, monitor and control the timely completion of any size project assigned scope of work per the agreed upon and contractual schedule.
  • Understand interdependencies for all tasks on a project.
  • Estimate, budget, verify funding, manage, monitor and control costs according to the approved budget on mid to large sized projects.
  • Manage work so that it aligns with quality policies, procedures, objectives, and standards to meet both Campos EPC and client expectations within contract terms.
  • Analyze, estimate, and recommend required resources and competencies for project teams to company leaders.
  • Ensure timely and appropriate planning, collection, creation, distribution, storage, retrieval, management, control, monitoring, and disposition of project information on mid to large size projects.
  • Manage any and all changes to scope, schedule, and cost, including internal and client changes.
  • Conduct risk management planning, identification, analysis, response planning, and controlling risk on mid to large size projects.
  • Find, estimate, purchase, or acquire products, services, or results needed from outside of the project team, including writing and managing Requests For Proposal events on mid to large size projects.
  • Identify people, groups, or organizations that could impact or be impacted by the project; analyze stakeholders’ expectations and their impact on the project; and develop appropriate management strategies for effectively engaging stakeholders in project decisions and execution.
