Electrical Planner
About The Position
WECTEC Staffing Services, a subsidiary of Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, is seeking an experienced Electrical Planner for a 6-month to 12-month contract role at the Palisades Nuclear Power Plant in Covert, Michigan. This position supports Westinghouse's mission to provide clean energy solutions. The role involves developing work orders and work steps for field implementation based on approved design/engineering change packages, providing field engineering support for constructability walk-downs, and developing Bills of Material (BOM) for parts ordering and issuance to the project. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or nuclear engineering
- Current Qualifications for Planning APS
- 6-8 + years of experience in the Electrical /I&C nuclear field
- Must pass background check for nuclear clearance
Nice To Haves
- Experience in nuclear projects in lieu of an engineering degree
- Experience with nuclear fuel products, fuel manufacturing, licensing, safety analysis, nuclear design engineering
Responsibilities
- Take Approved Design/Engineering Change Package and develop Work Order and write work steps for field implementation
- Field Engineering support to walk down the modification for constructability
- Develop BOM (Bill of Material) for ordering parts and issuance to the project
