About The Position

The client is located in the Dayton, OH area and is looking for an Electrical Panel Builder. This is a permanent, long-term role. The position requires the individual to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and bill of materials to lay out components and assemble panels. Responsibilities include installing electrical components such as contactors, PLCs, VFDs, and relays, and wiring/terminating them accurately. The role also involves running and pulling wire through conduit, and performing final testing of panels to verify functionality and safety compliance. This role must be worked on-site.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical or trade school certificate in electronics or related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in panel building, machine wiring, or industrial electrical work.
• Working knowledge of 240/480V single and 3-phase circuits.
• Working knowledge of AC and DC control circuits.
• Proficiency in reading electrical schematics.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools.
• Strong MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and general computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Understanding of UL 508A standards and industrial control systems is a plus.
