The Texas Institute for Electronics (TIE) is a University of Texas at Austin-supported semiconductor consortium focused on developing and executing a state-of-the-art 3D Heterogenous Integration manufacturing technology roadmap. TIE provides critical pilot manufacturing capabilities to address national security needs and catalyze domestic economic growth. With significant funding from the US DoD and the state of Texas, TIE is at the forefront of creating cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing equipment and processes. The Electrical/Mechanical Technician will fabricate, build, and assemble advanced semiconductor technologies based on engineered drawings and schematics. This role is based in Austin, Texas, a vibrant and innovative city.
